THE NYOS ® OPUS ® G2 AQUARIUM
HIDDEN OVERFLOW
The Nyos ® OPUS ® G2 has an external drain shaft embedded in the rear pane, which is flush with the rear pane of the aquarium. The fact that there is no disturbing downcomer in the aquarium creates additional space for aquascaping. The rear window can also be kept clean in a simple and uncomplicated manner.
THREE SIDES WITH ULTRA-CLEAR GLASS FOR BRILLIANT COLOURS
Both the windscreen and both side windows are made of ultra-clear glass. Compared to conventional glass, ultra-clear glass has a much weaker green tint, so the colours of fish and coral appear much more contrasting and lively.
POOL BASIN
The Nyos ® OPUS ® G2 is designed as a pool basin. There are no disturbing sides or crossbars in the aquarium.
CLEAN GLASS EDGES
In order to distract as little as possible from the reef experience, only transparent silicone is used in the main aquarium.
REAR PANE PAINTED DEEP BLUE FOR A REALISTIC DEPTH EFFECT
The rear pane of the aquarium is a precisely matched, very dark shade of blue. When the aquarium lighting is switched on, the perfect illusion of a realistic underwater world with a depth effect is created.
PERFECT AQUASCAPING DIMENSIONS THANKS TO EXTRA DEPTH
In reef aquariums, the depth is of particular importance for successful reef construction. The Nyos ® OPUS ® G2 is therefore equipped with extra depth, so that spectacular reef structures can be realised.
THE NYOS ® OPUS ® G2 CABINET
ROBUST DESIGN
Moisture-resistant support plates according to EN 312 are used for both base cabinets. Thanks to a durable melamine resin coating, the surfaces are extremely scratch and impact resistant. In addition, the base cabinets are additionally lined with waterproof foam
SUSTAINABLE AND RESOURCE-SAVING
The wood used in the Nyos ® OPUS ® G2 base cabinets comes from verified legal sources according to ISO 38200 and is manufactured in FSC ® certified factories. The legal limits for formaldehyde emissions are well below. All base cabinets consist of 30% recycled material and 45% co-products (waste wood from the sawmill industry). This achieves a low carbon footprint.
COMFORTABLE WITH HIGHER ALTITUDE
Compared to the first generation, the Nyos ® OPUS ® G2 base cabinets have a greater overall height, making working in the base cabinet more comfortable. The doors can be opened comfortably with the embedded push-to-open system.
AESTHETICS AND DESIGN
With the Nyos ® OPUS ® G2 base cabinets, we paid special attention to the functional and aesthetic design. The surfaces have a melamine resin coating and are of timeless elegance and simplicity.

THE NYOS ® OPUS ® G2 TECHNIQUE SUMP
PVC FIXED PIPING
PVC piping offers more safety and durability compared to hose installations. The piping can be installed in just a few simple steps and is designed to be particularly space-saving.
SIMPLIFIED SUMP WITH GENEROUS FILTER CHAMBER
Several devices such as skimmers, fluidized bed filters or algae reactors can be accommodated simultaneously in the generously dimensioned main chamber. The main chamber has a constant water level of approx. 21cm.
NYLON FILTER SOCK
A nylon filter sock is included with the Nyos ® OPUS ® G2. This is designed for a longer period of use.
ADJUSTABLE, QUIET DRAIN AND ADDITIONAL EMERGENCY OVERFLOW
The Nyos ® OPUS ® G2 has a drain with an adjustable valve. This makes it possible to minimize drain noise. An emergency drain is also included as a standard.
SEPARATE XL REFILL BASIN WITH A LOT OF CONTENT
The 50 cm high refill aquarium with a volume of 22 litres offers a supply of evaporated water for about a week.

chamber 3 Main filter chamber with constant water level. Skimmers and other filters such as a media reactor (Nyos ® TORQ ® ) can be installed here.
chamber 4 If necessary, a filter sponge can be inserted into the narrow chamber between the main filter chamber and the return chamber as an additional bubble trap.
chamber 5 In this chamber, the water is returned to the main aquarium via the return pump. Since the water level varies in the return chamber, the sensor for an automatic refill should be installed here.
